Five individual packets are included, for easy use. Simply add one packet directly to heated milk to begin the cheese making process. This culture is great for beginner and advanced cheese makers alike. Ingredients Lactococcus lactis subsp. lactis Lactococcus lactis subsp. cremoris Sucrose Maltodexterin Storage Store in the freezer for up to 2 years Yield Contains 5 packets. Each packet will culture 2 gallons of pasteurized milk, or up to 4 gallons of farm fresh milk. Directions Add 1 packet to your milk at proper temperature when recipe calls for adding starter culture. Let re-hydrate for 2 minutes, then stir in to dissolve. Follow your recipe and adjust as needed.
